Target Mama Fashion

Let’s face it, ladies, if you are dealing with messy babies or kids you do not want to wear your finest but you also don’t want to look like you just rolled out of bed. So I made it my mission to find the best wardrobe deals for you guys from no other than every mom’s dream store (Target). Last few trips I’ve noticed that they have really turned their clothing brands around and carry super cute and affordable pieces. That, however, is the keyword, affordable. You don’t have to break the bank to look cute and to make matters even better if you are a red card holder you will always have that additional 5% off every purchase.

So here are some of my favorites go to basics to always look put together and not break the bank.

  1. The Monterey Pocket V-Neck  –  $5.00

My absolute favorite, this is such a sturdy top. They will withstand kids and babies with major spit up problems. I grabbed two of them in size Medium one is the Pink Dip Die and the second one is a navy one. I wanted to add some color and also purchase one that will be more every day. Links added to each one below, also I will show you how to style them on my Instagram story so make sure to click the links below and follow me. Did I mention they are $5.00 plus if you are a red card member you get those amazing extra savings?

2. High-RIse Release Hemp Jeans $29.99

Now I know it is cliche for a mom to wear high-rise “mom jeans”, but these jeans speak sweet things to me. Honestly, I’ve always been pretty afraid to wear jeans because they are hard to find. I have curves and while some women love and embrace them I’m still trying to find the right jean to go with it. But I must say these are the best for the price. Jeans will always tend to be on the pricey side but for $29.99 I could not go wrong. They do not zip up since they are all button jeans and the leg is not too much of a skinny leg fit.

Quick Tip: If you are a curvacious women skinny jeans will not accentuate your figure it will only make it look more imbalanced. Yes embrace those curves but a straight leg or semi skinny leg will do the trick.

Pros:

  • The top is perfect
  • The leg size is great
  • If you are on the petite side make sure to check the inseam on it. I’m 5’5 and these fit great.

3. Layla Lace Up Tennis Shoes  $16.99

White tennis shoes, I know dangerous grounds if you have kids but if you get a cheap enough pair it won’t hurt you if your little one spits up on them or you spill pasta sauce on them.  If you have flat feet its best to purchase some insoles as well to make sure you are not hurting. Mine feet pretty much flatten during pregnancy hence why I went from a size 7 1/2 to 8. It was a sad day when all my expensive shoes no longer fit. Anyway pairing these kicks with jeans, chinos, dresses or skirts makes them so volatile. I’m truly not afraid of them getting dirty and they have really kept up with my lifestyle.  They also have other colors like black and grey but the white is really a lot more fashion friendly.

Don’t forget to follow me on my other social media platforms, I will also be showing you guys how to style these three items.
